Helmet Compatibility & Mounting System
The Bontrager helmet light uses our proprietary clip-mount system engineered specifically for three helmet models: the Specter WaveCel road helmet, the Ballista MIPS aero helmet, and the Rally WaveCel mountain helmet. Each helmet features integrated mounting channels molded into the shell during production.
Installation takes under 30 seconds with no tools required. Slide the front light into the forward vent channel until you hear the retention click, then attach the rear flasher to the occipital cradle mount at the back of the helmet. The low-profile design maintains your helmet’s aerodynamics while adding less than 70 grams of weight. Remove both units just as quickly when you transition to daylight riding or need to recharge the battery.

The USB-C charging port lives under a rubber seal on the front unit and delivers a full charge in 90 minutes when connected to a standard 5V adapter.
